How to Upgrade Your Scooter to a Newer Model

Upgrading your scooter to a newer model is a straightforward process. This guide explains the eligibility criteria, costs, and step-by-step instructions to ensure a smooth transition to your new scooter.

Eligibility for Upgrading

Your eligibility to upgrade depends on the duration of your current subscription:

  • After 12 months: You can upgrade for a one-time fee of 125€.

  • After 18 months: Upgrading is free.

  • After 24 months: You can return your current scooter and order a newer model with a discount.

Costs and Discounts

  • Upgrade Fee: A fee of 125€ applies for upgrades after 12 months. This fee is waived after 18 months.

  • Discount Codes: You may apply a discount code during checkout for additional savings. Contact support for available codes.

  • New Subscription Costs: Upgrading starts a new subscription term, and the first month’s payment is charged on the upgrade date.

  • Open Payments: Make sure that you don't have any outstanding payments or invoices from your previous subscriptions when upgrading to a newer model.

Step-by-Step Upgrade Process

    • Complete the checkout process for the new model. Apply any available discount codes during this step.

  3. Request a Return Label:

    • After placing your order, contact support via chat to request a return label for your current scooter and inform them that you have placed an order and upgraded to a newer model.

  4. Receive Your New Scooter:

    • The new scooter will typically arrive within a few business days. Keep the packaging for returning your old scooter.

  5. Return Your Old Scooter:

    • Use the provided return label to send back your current scooter. You have one week to complete the return after receiving the new scooter.

  6. Confirm Return and Subscription Cancellation:

    • Notify support once the return shipment is in transit. Your previous subscription will be terminated at this point.

  • New Subscription Term: Upgrading starts a new minimum contract term (e.g., 12/24/36 months).

  • Model Availability: Check the website for the latest models and availability.

  • Eligibility for Free Upgrades: Free upgrades are available after 18 months of subscription.
