Returning your scooter

Written by Jeremy Augment

After your subscription ends (due to cancellation or contract completion), we’ll guide you through the return process. You’ll receive clear instructions for pickup or drop-off based on your location.

Preparing the Scooter for Return

Before returning the scooter:

  • Please clean the scooter before packing it. This helps us process the return and inspection faster.

  • Ensure the following items are securely packed in the box:

  • The scooter and its battery

  • The charger

  • Handle grips (if applicable)

  • Remove any old shipping labels from the box to avoid confusion.

Remove any personal items from the scooter.

Packaging and Return Materials

If you still have the original packaging, you can use it to return the scooter.

If you do not have a suitable box, we will:

  • send you a return box, and

  • include a pre-filled return slip inside the box

  • The return label is typically included with your shipment. Check the outside of the box, behind the return instructions sheet, or inside a small plastic pouch attached to the carton. If not found, check inside the package with the delivery documents.

If you already have a box and only need the return slip:

Contact the support, and we will send you the return slip digitally for you to print. If the return label is missing, contact support. Once you have the return slip:

  1. Remove any old shipping labels from the box to avoid confusion.

  2. Affix the left-hand portion of the return label securely to the package, ensuring it covers any previous labels.

  3. Detach the right-hand portion of the return label and hand it to the relay point staff for stamping or signing. Alternatively, take a photo of the scanner screen during drop-off as proof of return. Retain the stamped and signed portion or the photo as proof of return to provide in your support chat to confirm the return.

Returning the Scooter

Once the scooter is packed and the return slip is attached:

  • Take the package to a relay point. Use the shipping companies' (DPD, DHL, or Matkahuolto) relay locator to find the nearest drop-off location. Ensure the return label is securely attached and retain proof of drop-off.

  • Use the carrier’s website to access the relay point locator for your country, which helps you find the most convenient drop-off location.

Additionally, ensure you obtain proof of deposit when dropping off the package. Acceptable forms of proof include a signed and stamped return slip, a photo of the scanner screen showing the tracking number, or a carrier’s receipt. If the relay point refuses to provide a stamped or signed slip, take a clear photo of the scanner screen or visit another relay point that can provide the required proof. Submit the proof of return via the in-app chat or email to confirm your return. Retain the proof until your return is fully processed.

If you have a new delivery or contact address, please inform us in advance to avoid any delays or errors during the return process. Additionally, retain proof of return by obtaining a stamped or signed confirmation from the relay point or by taking a photo of the scanner screen as evidence.

The scooter should be returned to Augment within 7 days after receiving the return slip. Ensure you keep the stamped return slip or scanned confirmation as proof of return to avoid any disputes.

Return inspection process

Once returned, your scooter undergoes a standard inspection. Normal wear and tear is expected, but damage beyond this may result in additional charges.
