How to Pair Your Scooter with the App

Pairing connects your physical scooter to your phone, enabling you to lock/unlock it, view stats, and get notifications

Pairing Instructions

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on and you have an active internet connection on your phone.

  2. Open the Augment.eco app and log in.

  3. Navigate to the Connection section and tap the two arrows icon in the top-right corner.

  4. Select the option to add a new scooter and power on your scooter (press and hold the power button until lights appear).

  5. The app will scan for nearby scooters. When your scooter appears, tap it.

  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing, which may include confirming a PIN shown on the scooter display.

  7. Once connected, you’ll see your scooter’s status on the app dashboard.

Tips for Successful Pairing

  • Ensure your scooter is fully charged or has sufficient battery.

  • Stay within 3 meters (10 feet) of the scooter.

  • Turn off other Bluetooth devices that may interfere.

  • Restart both phone and scooter if pairing fails and try again.

  • Re-add the scooter by removing it from the app and adding it again as a new device.

  • Update or reinstall the Augment.eco app to ensure you are using the latest version.

Advanced Troubleshooting

If the basic steps do not resolve the issue, try the following advanced troubleshooting methods:

  1. Restart your phone and the scooter, then reopen the app and attempt to pair again.

  2. Re-add the scooter by removing it from the app and adding it again as a new device.

  3. Update or reinstall the Augment.eco app to ensure you are using the latest version.

Special Cases: Refurbished Scooters

If you are connecting a refurbished scooter or using a new device, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Augment.eco app and tap the two arrows icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Select the option to add a new scooter and follow the on-screen prompts to pair and connect the scooter.

  3. Verify that the refurbished scooter is compatible with the app and has no hardware issues.
