Compatibility and preparation: This guide is only for the Augment Battery Lock accessory for the ES210 family and the matching removable battery shown. It is not for Agaru, Alturo or Augment 360. Power off, unplug and remove the battery using its normal release. Work only on an undamaged battery. Preserve the type label so it can be refitted and remain readable; ask support before proceeding if the battery or accessory differs.
Rubber plugs: Carefully lift the four specified plugs with a suitable non-damaging tool. Do not pierce the battery case or insert a sharp tool into the pack.
Specified fasteners: Remove only the four Phillips screws identified under those plugs in the matching kit instructions. Do not remove other battery housing fasteners.
External end piece only: Remove only the plastic end piece shown for the approved ES210-family accessory. Do not open the sealed battery pack, touch internal wiring or cells, or continue if removal would expose electrical parts.
Fit the matching lock: Fit the supplied ES210-family lock using the four specified screws and the kit instructions. Refit the rubber plugs, using the supplied larger plugs where shown. Do not over-tighten or substitute incompatible fasteners; if the case or kit differs, stop and ask support.
Finish and check: Refit the original type label without obscuring its information. Check that the lock operates and the battery mounts securely before riding. The accessory does not replace a suitable scooter lock or guarantee recovery. A separate AirTag, where fitted in the kit’s pocket, is not built-in scooter GPS.
