Why the first battery bar may drop quickly

Understand battery-bar estimates and recognize symptoms that need assessment.

Written by Patrick Augment

What the display means: Battery bars are an estimate and may decrease unevenly. An early drop of the first bar can occur during normal use, but it does not prove that every loss of range or shutdown is normal. The illustration is an example battery-test curve, not a health test for your individual scooter.

Check real use: Compare distance on similar routes and in similar conditions. Cold, wind, hills, load, speed and tyre pressure affect range. Use the pressure specified for the exact model, not a generic value from another scooter.

Do not deep-discharge: Follow normal safe charging with the approved charger. Do not charge overnight or deliberately ride the battery completely empty to test it. Agaru Smart and Ultra batteries are built in and must not be removed by the customer.

When to get help: Sudden power cuts, a large new loss of range, charging faults or a red error symbol need assessment. Stop riding if unsafe and tell support the model, onset and checks already tried. App 100% or a normal-looking bar graph does not rule out a fault.
