Front tyre and tube replacement — Circular / ES210 / Super LR

Pneumatic front motor-wheel procedure with cable, valve and fastening checks.

Written by Lise Augment

Scope and preparation: This is the pictured pneumatic front motor-wheel procedure for Circular/ES210 and Super LR, not a guide for Agaru, Alturo, ES One 10, Augment 360 or a solid-tyre conversion. Confirm the exact compatible tyre, tube and valve before work. Switch off, unplug and remove the normally detachable battery. Support the scooter and wheel securely. Use the correct wrench, hex key and suitable non-damaging tyre/valve tools. DIY work is optional; ask support for service if you cannot complete the procedure safely.

  • Use the pointy tool and remove the rubber plug, then carefully fold the reflective sticker. Then loosen the plastic screws, 2 pcs.

  • Gently expose only the available motor-cable slack needed for this assembly. Never pull a resistant cable or tug the wiring from inside the scooter.

  • Use the wrench and loosen the front wheel nuts. NOTE! Hold the wheel at all times so that it does not fall as this can split the cable.

  • Keep the wheel supported in the position shown only if the exact cable arrangement allows it without strain. Do not hang the wheel by the motor cable, twist the cable or force the wheel against the fork.

  • Deflate fully: Remove the valve cap and release all air using a suitable valve tool before removing the tyre. Avoid damaging the valve or using sharp tools against the tube.

  • Hold the valve against yourself and start removing the outer tire either to the right or left about ¼ turns from the valve. Then continue along the rim until the half of the tire is off the rim.

  • Push the valve through the rim and pull the inner tube out of the outer tire.

  • Remove the outer tire completely.

  • Apply the new outer tire by stretching it over the rim.

  • Insert the correct tube valve through the rim hole, matching the original approved orientation and ensuring clearance from the fork, cable and other components. Do not assume a valve angle from another wheel or model.

  • Push the inner tube into the tire. Beware of sharp objects.

  • Stretch the other half of the outer tire on the rim. Start opposite the valve.

  • Inflate carefully: Check that the tube is not trapped and both tyre beads are evenly seated, then inflate with a gauge to the pressure specified for the exact model and tyre. Do not use a sidewall maximum as the operating recommendation.

  • Refit the wheel: Support the wheel, return the axle and washers to their original correct positions, and tighten the axle fasteners to the specification for that assembly. Do not guess a torque or ride with a loose axle.

  • Route the motor cable back as originally fitted without pinching, stretching or twisting it. Stop if the insulation or connector is damaged.

  • Finish and inspect: Refit the cover, its screws, plugs and reflector. Check that the wheel is secured, turns freely, the tyre is seated evenly, wiring is protected and braking works before riding. If any fastening specification or step is unclear, have support or a qualified repairer complete it.
