First-use assembly
The term handlebar assembly below refers to the part called the machine head in the original illustrated instructions. The term stem refers to the pole or head tube.
Disengage the rear folding hook by moving the folded front section to the right. Raise the stem to the upright position, then securely close and tighten the stem locking lever.
Firmly connect the white electrical plug between the handlebar assembly and the stem.
Carefully tuck the connected wiring inside the stem. Do not pinch or damage the wire.
Insert the handlebar assembly fully into the top of the stem.
Align the six threaded holes in the handlebar assembly with the six holes in the stem.
Install all six M5 × 12 screws. Tighten them with the wrench supplied in the tool kit until the handlebar assembly is secure and does not wobble.
How to fold the scooter
Rotate the limit block on the handlebar hook 90 degrees clockwise.
Locate the inner section of the folding lever near the base of the stem. Press firmly on the lower end until the upper end rises.
While the upper end is raised, push it clockwise until the folding mechanism opens.
Fold the stem down and angle it slightly to the right.
Slide the front folding hook into the hook on the rear fender.
Rotate the folding-hook limit block 90 degrees counterclockwise until it stops. This secures the scooter in the folded position.
How to ride the Agaru scooter
Wear protective gear.
Turn on the scooter.
Place one foot on the deck and push forward with the other foot.
Once the scooter is rolling, press the throttle gently.
Place both feet on the deck, with your stronger foot toward the rear.
How to turn
Turn the handlebar slightly in the direction you want to travel.
Lean your body gently in the same direction to maintain balance.
How to slow down and stop
Release the throttle to begin slowing down.
Pull the brake lever to stop.
When the scooter comes to a complete stop, place one foot on the ground.
